Crarae Gardens near Inveraray
A bright dry day
The first leg of our Tour of the west of Scotland was from Dundee to Lochgilphead, where we will stay with our granddaughter for 4 days.
On the way we stopped at Crarae Gardens just south of Inveraray. The Garden is really shaped like a Himalayan garden with hundreds of huge Rhododendron bushes/trees, although it was of course the wrong season to visit. Still, it was beautiful and we will return next Spring.
It was good to meet our granddaughter and her husband and we are looking forward to spending time with them.
