I blipped the combine harvester yesterday.    The straw has already been baled and on our walk today we saw the bales being loaded and carted (see extra for the stack).  I was mesmerised by the self loading trailer, an ingenious piece of machinery.    Probably next year all I'll see will be houses on these fields!!
I picked 2 kilos of blackberries this morning and at the moment they are straining through a jelly strainer to be made into bramble jelly in the morning.    I also picked a kilo of wild plums but am uncertain how to process them at present, could be another jam making session tomorrow afternoon.
