This picture is on the wall....

... of Inverness Museum and Art Gallery. The building is a refurbished concrete block, which at least looks more appealing than it used to. I went there on the advice of MOLOH, to see the exhibition of the Scottish Colourists. I agree with her that Peploe pips the others. One of the advantages of being the only city up here is that we get all these travelling exhibitions of wonderful art.  I imagine the museum will relocate to the Castle, though not this year, it seems. The picture on it's outside wall is Loch Ness seen from Dores, often blipped by your obedient servant.
