I want tiger!

Summer holiday 2021 day 4

A relatively impromptu trip to Chester Zoo this afternoon. It felt like we needed to get out and do something after a morning of chores (although Aaron wanted to chill at home instead). Owen did brilliantly, walking around himself for the most part and getting suitably excited about the various animals, he always loves the elephants, declared that he wanted to be a zebra*, did a great impression of a hornbill, and rounded off the day becoming* a tiger...and very pleased with himself he was too.
It's lovely to see how his appreciation changes each time we visit.
