Thursday: Blueberries, the Toad, Lavender …

… and the bracelet which I’d started thinking about last night …
It rained all morning not very warm either.
During the couple of hours it stayed dry this afternoon I finished pruning an overgrown rose in the front garden, rescued 6 seedlings of verbena bonariensis - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2610598936297082743 - which self seed between the paving blocks (but refuse to grow when I sow seed in pots!!), collected Bramley apple windfalls and some rhubarb to make compote adding frozen blueberries. Took some photos for today’s Blip, the toad is for The Sailor …
Picked 5 courgette, 1 large and 4 small - courgette count = 23. 
When it started raining I came indoors and made a bracelet. MrD had gone for a walk and got back before a heavy shower of rain.
