HARVEST TIME

I know it's Abstract Thursday but I'm a concrete kinda guy...so

Solanum lycopersicum......the only thing besides weeds that grows in my garden. I prefer the yellow ones as they are low acid which agrees with my digestive system. I have only five plants; 2 Large yellow; 2 yellow pear (very sweet) and 1 Roma (the red one) because they will keep a long time and are great for making salsa.

The Italians are big into tomatoes (can you say Spaghetti Sauce?) but they are originally from western South and Central America and "tamed"..."domesticated" in Mexico. They are now found world wide.
