New backdrop

I wanted to see how good a unique hand painted canvas would look as a backdrop and how easy it was to manage. I purchased the jade green 1.6 x 2m option.  It is thickly coated with paint which makes it a little heavy, stiff (ish) and awkward. I needed help to clip it to an overhead frame. It looks nothing special in the day light. However, it comes alive when lit. I like it. However, I can't help wonder if I could recreate this using polystyrene blocks and painting them myself - hmmmm.
