Breakfast at tiffanys

A morning stroll with callie round the streets. Stopped off to gather plums for our walk.

Arkle and callie watch this morning as I made up frames for hives.

Headed to out apiary with merging to be done.

First step was to tidy the bee shed and sort out all the stuff I would need.

Made some wasp traps and hung them up.

Over to the queenless hive to double check no eggs or brood so got ready to merge with a nuc with brood.

Put the nuc into a brood box and left to settle as I checked over nucs and fed them sugar syrup to draw the comb.

The chill of the evening mentbno flying bees so merged the hives.

Tidied up went for walk with laird's wife and dog to pick up trap Camera.

Tea and chat.

Home late had to stop as the moon was brilliant.
