Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Agapanthus

Wednesday today and another day of lovely weather.  I started the day at our mid - week communion service. These flowers were arranged by a member of the congregation last Friday and are quite beautiful I think. They have lasted well and are a real work of art. My skills in flower arranging do not match these beautiful blues. I put flowers in a vase, these are a creation.
The lilies behind have been here since the Monday before, they were brought by a congregation member whose sister had just died, they smell wonderful and still look fresh.
I came home after church and pottered again. Lunch in the garden and a walk this afternoon. Isobel enjoyed her first day at school, there is another Isobel in her class, fortunately with the same spelling which will avoid any confusion there. She hasn't met another Isobel before! She was so excited before they left that she couldn't stay still long enough to smile for Kathryn to get a photo of her, see extra!
Thanks for your good wishes for Penny, she was first on the list today. No news is good news I hope.
Keep safe everyone, I suppose we shouldn't be surprised that a week after restrictions are eased the figures are rising dramatically.
