Evening calm

After yesterday's exertions we had a quieter day today, which was again grey with low cloud and a few showers. The legs weren't too bad though a run was not on the agenda.
In the morning we tried to do a walk in a book we had but the starting point gate was no longer there so a re-think was required. With a bit of trial and error we were able to reach the top of the small hill overlooking the bay, though the mountains in the opposite direction had all vanished.
In the afternoon we had a wandering paddle around our island and the bay, weaving in and out of the moored boats. There was a bit of a breeze but not enough to bother this sheltered spot.
Later on, back indoors it brightened a bit and the wind dropped, the blip is the view from our front door at this point.
