Create Movement

This composition challenge is giving me a bit of daily focus this month. Today’s was a bit of a challenge, I am not good at “creating movement” in images.

The weather we have had for days has been pretty miserable. Damp, grey and gloomy. Pennington Flash looked bleak, although on close inspection there were plenty of swallows and martins skimming over the surface in search of insects. Otherwise pretty still. Until a group of small children charged the waterfowl gathered at the waters edge to scare them. That certainly created a lot of movement.
