A brief walk in Maxwell Park this morning …… not a butterfly to be seen but there were plenty of busy bees out on pollen gathering missions.

The yellow ox eye daisies with their large, almost flat, flower heads are always popular with the pollen gatherers.

Patchwork class started last night but we still have to wear masks. It’s quite tough wearing one indoors for two and a half hours when the longest time I have ever had to wear one is during a supermarket shop and that usually lasts less than an hour.
