Spellbound

Passed the Recital Hall at a privileged music specialist junior school that our son went to a while back today, which has a few magical (to me) music performances etched into my mind.

Topmost was his performance of a complicated modern piece at a piano masterclass/audition with a concert pianist who said he was struggling to find any fault with it. He was the only person where he said " You are an excellent pianist" out of a group of pianists, from around Nottinghamshire, pretty much all of whom were a year or two older.
