Darkness & Light...

The sun shone on this juv king as it sat in a dark corner on the top lake in Roundhay Park today. I'd gone there to meet a friend, have a walk, have lunch & then have another walk. It didn't quite work out as I got a phone call from my sister saying that my elderly aunt was in hospital after having a stroke.

My sister's son has covid & so they couldn't leave the house & so of course I came straight back. I picked my mum up & went to see my uncle - who wasn't really sure what to do. This 'no visiting' is so hard. So we stayed a few hours & chatted to him to keep his mind off things.

My aunt has phoned a couple of times & he said that she sounded more like herself than when she left in the ambulance.

It's a waiting game & we are all hoping that she will be ok.
