Nothing happens here...

Sea Holly

This blue plant  - which we call a Sea Holly, our favourite shade of blue  -  is an Eryngium according to Blipper Knottman. We first saw them on the dunes at South Walney so we were overjoyed to find one in our garden many years ago but ours died - or so we thought - then just a month ago MrsDB dragged me outside to show me some new shoots, after 4 years!  Isn't nature marvellous.

Extra:  Pics of the first Sea Holly!  2013
