A matter of torque

I had a friend who had a pro standard carbon bike frame ruined because the shop who assembled his new bike hadn't tightened the seat mast to the correct torque setting.

Well, it slipped down on the integrated seat mast damaging the lacquer causing the frame to fail.

TUT TUT!

The moral of the story is always use a torque wrench!
