Living the Lockdown Life

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

I like Kainga Ora me. I feel fairly confident. And it is getting to the stage where I know enough people that I feel comfortable. 

It is nice.

Having said that, I spent all day at home. Not that I have much choice. All of NZ is totally locked down for the next 3 days while they try to figure out where the latest delta variant patients came from, and how long they have been in the community. 

Consequently, I spent a lot of time on the phone today. Leanne actually sang, "I'm loooooovin' my lockdown liiiiiiiiife...."

She reckons that, "so long as you have at least four day's worth of chippies in the house, you'll be fine."

I also chatted online to Fazzy who is as cheeky as ever. We talked about her musical taste. She has MET Boys II Men.

I had to tell Caro. 

I've also met Craig David. Typed Fazzy.

I passed this on to Caro.

"She started out well but she's RUINED it now," said Caro.

LOL. Typed Fazzy. 

Also I saw Westlife in concert. Added Fazzy in the chat.

"All right. Thats it. You need to cut her off now," said Caro.

The number of cases has gone from one to six overnight. And because it is delta, it is sort of scary. I hope this lockdown works. Because as nice as today was, I do miss all these lovely people.
