Pot Marigold

They're a bit overly gaudy but I like to have one. Apart from anything else they attract blackfly. The sacrificial marigold! Here's this year's with a second flowering of ox eye daisies in the background.

It's already a lovely morning. I've been up since an early hour. Now our younger granddaughter is here having breakfast. She's unusually quiet. Maybe missing her big sister who is now well into her P2 year at school but who was here for Wednesday childminding during part of the holidays.

The day has started early and it will carry on being busy. We will enjoy the warm sunny weather in the garden or the playpark. Yoga later.
