Layers of Life

A pleasant camera club summer meet this evening. The time of year and low cloud base meant that light was not good but we visited another local nature reserve and could see the potential for future expeditions. The peace of the locality was completely shattered by the incessant roar of traffic from the motorway carving throughout the middle.

At this particular point I noticed the layers of farmland with corn ready for harvesting, some sheep in a field a bit further away without a thought for anything else and then the traffic with everyone going somewhere! Layers of life.

Afterwards I met up with a photographer friend for a catch up plus a few plans for shooting a wedding I'm helping her with in a few weeks' time. So a late blip.
