Euan reading Dragons to Grandad
They are here! Well two thirds of the family are here. Daddy Rob follows on Friday after the removal folks have finished and the house closed up.
Euan and Mummy Becky had a nightmare of a flight. He didn't sleep well and cried a good deal, so much so that the cabin crew asked if she would like a glass of wine! She declined. When they emerged from A & M's car they both looked absolutely shot and we had all decided to play it low key until he had rested, but no, Euan had other plans. Within a few minutes we were chasing about the garden, having hugs, named correctly. Several hours of fun and games followed in and out of the house with both sets of grandparents flagging. He finally went down for a long nap early afternoon but woke very much out of sorts with possibly a tummy upset - don't we all feel rubbish after a long haul flight? There was no consoling him for quite a while but eventually Nana M wove some magic and he settled again. Here he is reading one of his favourite stories to his Grandad Tony, with all the actions and much emphasis on the words. We can't believe his language.
I reckon we will all be in bed by 9.30 with another day of Euan adventures to look forward to tomorrow. Let's hope he has a long night's sleep!
