Last of the lavender wine

The lavender in Dundee has done its bit and it beginning to look tired and spent.  But the bees and the butterflies are extracting what they can.  I promised myself I would read Ali Smith's quartet of books in season.  The garden has prompted me to get on with "Summer' so I've now got that started and thoroughly enjoying it - no problem about finishing by the end of summer - might be finished by the end of the weekend.
