Flowering cactus

I noticed some pink dots on one of the cacti in the sun room today. On closer inspection it seems that this cactus is doing its best to flower, against the odds, having been somewhat neglected recently.

Bertie had another visit to the vet today to get his second vaccination. In a week’s time he can go out and meet other dogs. I wonder what he’ll make of that.
