Evening Sunlight....

I had a trip to The Roaches with my camera club tonight. The evening light was beautiful. We managed to walk up to the top of the ridge and as far as Doxey Pool before coming back to the road where we were all parked. The extra is of the sun just disappearing below the horizon.

A few of us waited until it got dark to see if we could spot the Perseids meteor shower. We did see a few but nothing to take photos of. We weren't prepared to stay out all night, but it was fun just watching the night sky. It wasn't as clear as we would have liked either.
