Chenal de Talais

This morning's ride had me exploring. Right at the end of a long narrow road I found a little oyster farm at the point where the Chenal de Talais meets the Gironde estuary. There are lots of Chenals around here which are actually just little coastal inlets, and are tidal.
It was absolutely silent, apart from the occasional noise from the gulls which were sat on top of the wooden piles.
The actual oyster farm was just behind me, but I think the view across the estuary was more interesting.
