Is It Safe To Come Out?

It's too early to say really.

I've blipped the Pompey gnome a couple of times before, and once more he has come to my rescue. Failing to find anything remotely interesting on the Tiny Tuesday theme of vegetable I decided to take my macro lens into the garden to see if I could at least get a bee, or even another butterfly. Then I saw the gnome, tentatively poking his now grubby face though the plants. In the same tentative way I had stuck my neck out earlier and purchased a £10 match pass to watch Pompey this evening. They have started this season really well, after wholesale changes in the squad. No doubt after 2 wins the 'old' Pompey will turn out later and disappoint me, not for the first time. I'll let you know tomorrow, or maybe I won't say anything about it.

We had to stay in today for the Aqualisa man. The shower is less than a year old and had started playing up. We've got a five year warranty and the after sales service was said to be excellent. It was. One of the solenoid valves was sticking, so the engineer replaced the whole unit.
