Open Top Bus Ride - Lake Windermere

Ooh - we do love an open top bus ride and the number 599 has got to be the most scenic one we’ve ridden :-)

It meant that Mr W could have a day off driving as we picked it up from near our Airbnb.

From Ambleside we went through Windermere to Bowness (main picture) for a lovely lunch. Back to Windermere for a walk around & then on to Grasmere - a very pretty village for another walk, before catching the bus back to Ambleside :-D
