Last trolley standing

6.10 pm tonight our Prime Minister announced that the country is going into Level 4 lockdown.
Auckland and Coromandel areas for 7 days, the rest of the country for 3 days.

This is because our first positive community case for months was tested yesterday. This one man ,from Auckland, travelled to coromandel and thanks to Covid19 scanning his movements are tracked.

As before Jacinda is going hard and going fast, no mucking around.
There are fears that this may be the Delta strain and we don’t want it to get away on us.

Isn’t it great that NZ responds like this.

Of course after the announcement the supermarkets went crazy, even though they will be open for essentials throughout lockdown .

I happened to be in the supermarket when the announcement was made and when I came out I saw that the shopping trolley bay had been emptied!
