Steamer clams

I needed a midnight snack, so what better time to try out my new / used steamer. Good news, it worked great, and I had a wonderful midnight snack.

Ten minutes of steaming, and every one of a dozen plus clams opened right up.

While I was happy with the results, what I did learn is that it takes a LOT of steamer clams to create a real meal :)

Next time, I'm going to try clams and mussels.
