The gardener of Washington Square Park

We had a long and lively discussion with him this morning before we left. He is the head gardener at the park and pretty much the crew, too. He says he loves his job. He's worked at all the parks in the city but this one is his favorite, he gets to do everything including fixing broken irrigation pipes. A few extras from in front of "the new" Penn Station before we boarded the train.
