Solace Day 4

Got up in such a hurry at 6.30am when I could see that all was white with frost outside and the sun was just peeping over the horizon. One of those mornings we dream of having on the canal.

The Caldon canal is very picturesque, especially the river section of it. I imagine it will be glorious in autumn.

At this point in the holiday we have to think about turning around, conveniently, at the end of this particular canal.
