Heart Man

One of the best things about my birthday is that it usually coincides with Luka Bloom's biannual tour of Australia, and someone usually spoils me to a very special treat - listening to this wonderful man with the most beautiful soul.

I would have liked to blip the audience, rapt in the glow of his benediction, but my iphotography skills were not up to the task, or this one either. And besides there were better things to do than take photos of the man.

I decided to title this Heart Man in tribute to his song honouring the good when there is so much noise about the evil in this world, not realising this was the title of his tour.

Because he is a Heart Man himself, and so many of his lyrics seem to be singing my own thoughts...

And I choose innocence, after the tears

It's the simple pleasures

Like a night of sweet sweet music
With my family and friends
