Falls of Kirkaig
I must have driven past the start of the path to Falls of Kirkaig 100 times and never stopped, so today we gave it a go. It's about a 7km round trip to get a view of the falls, and while most of the path is quite good (a gentle ascent of around 200m) the last part to get the view is a bit of a scramble. Still, it was worth it and the falls make a satisfying thunderous noise.
The path continues on to Suilven, one of my favourite mountains in this area (very distinctive), and the view of the mountain from here should be spectacular. However, cloud meant we could only see the very bottom. Never mind, it was a lovely walk and we'll be back...
Extra: CyclopsJnr at the split in the path.
