Fisherman and his Catch

In the morning we walked to Falls of Kirkaig (Cyclops' Blip), which was spectacular and an enjoyable 7km round trip.

We had lunch in Lochinver, where we enjoyed watching deer grazing on the playing field next to the cafe!

We headed over to Achmelvich Beach for a paddle and some sandcastles with some different scenery, which was lovely but a bit more populous than our beach near the house (there were probably 30 people there on a large beach so it was hardly crowded).

It was still a fine afternoon when we got back so we went out fishing.  CyclopsJnr caught 3 mackerel almost straight away (the only catch of the trip) but two were too small and had to go back.  This one provided dinner for two however!
