What a performance

We had to take Pheobe in to have new tyres fitted this morning. She was well behaved and we picked her up a couple of hours later sporting two shiny brand new ones. Whilst hitching her to the car the lever on the jockey wheel sheared off which meant when we got home we wouldn’t be able to unhitch her. The car and the caravan are now stuck in the middle of our shared driveway. Massive panic as we are going away in three days - what now, thinking caps on, we decide the best course of action is to phone the caravan dealer.

A quick phone call and sometime later after reversing back down the driveway we head off to Bridlington, where the amazing mechanic Dave with his molegrips soon removed the broken bolt. After a quick visit to the caravan spares store thinking this is going to be a complete new jockey wheel assembly costing in region of £40 we were delighted to find we able to purchase just a new lever costing £12.99.we’re back on the road again and head home.Phew!
