Fresnay-sur-Sarthe

An early start to get down to Portsmouth in time to catch the morning ferry over to Caen. Being 90% empty made for a very relaxed journey and no queueing for anything.

Booked a random hotel online for tonight and it turns out the town is lovely location on a bend in the river with a ruined castle and medieval centre!
