Mono Monday: Mangled

After a pleasant morning with Steven and Anne we've spent most of the day driving home slowly through the motorway traffic.  We managed to keep our sanity, with the help of an entertaining audio book that kept us both awake and amused.

This is a shot that I took of a moor side cottage on the borders between Lancashire and Yorkshire.  Its not strictly a lo-key image, so it doesn't really qualify for the Mono Monday challenge, although the gloomy low light in the damp grey weather does make for a fairly dark image.

I think the mangle probably qualifies as dereliction; at least, I hope that no one is having to use that for their daily or weekly laundry!
