Reclaiming this room!

Our staycation is over, although I don't start any paid-for work for a couple of weeks yet. Fingers crossed there are enough candidates for a course or it might be a major rethink.  In the meantime, I started to clean up our 'front room' shelves. Still lots to do.

Two questions for my blipper friends :

How do you organise your bookshelves? What you see here is only a very small percentage of our books. Our current system is kind of:  newish unread books here, gardening books there, books from our childhood here, everything else kind of where you remember seeing them.

Who still keeps dvds? We have 100s and many unseen, but good. What to do?
