Yes. Alton Towers

Apart from the occasional mention on “Gardeners World”, people forget that there are stunning gardens at Alton Towers.

These days they don’t get much attention as people enjoy the rides and the fun atmosphere. 

This shot was from the lovely Sky Ride cable car (hence the blur). It was a damp and gloomy day, but it was still amazing to go back, after nearly 18 years. 

I had a Saturday job selling sweets and cups of tea in the shop by the Pottery (long gone). This lovely pleasure ground has a very special place in my heart.
