Riverside Plantings…..

There is a special group of folk here in Marlborough who are very environmentally conscious and have a special love for the Taylor River and environs. Over recent years they have undertaken an on-going project of planting indigenous trees and shrubs to enhance the river berms, provide shelter for ducks and to attract birds such as tui to town. I get so much pleasure from seeing and photographing their work …. They are such visionaries!
