LOSS

Today the Rev conducted 2 services for 2 families who had suffered a miscarriage recently. It’s nit Anwar’s possible to do a funeral but the recognition of a life is very important to many parents. I hope they gained some comfort from the service.

Loss is the title for 2 reasons…today we were told of another loss. The loss of a relationship….O’s girlfriend of 7 years has decided not to return to England but to stay in Greece. We are so desperately sad for him and us. She had become part of our family. She had lived with us for 2 years and this weekend they should have been moving into their first (owned) home together. He says he’s ok but as a Mum you know…..
When their heart breaks…yours breaks a little more. Lots of tears today.

Also can’t believe it was almost exactly a year ago that I announced my other son’s marriage was over!!! I feel emotional drained, helpless and sad for them.
