Hose Lodge

After the morning service I packed the car and set off over the Pennines to collect mum and we then travelled down to Leicestershire for a few days self catering. We had a good journey and arrived by 6pm. We have a lovely stable conversion apartment in the middle of fields, with horses as neighbours. 

We had taken a home cooked meal ready for the microwave and I was looking forward to settling down for a relaxing meal and glass of wine. Problem! I had forgotten the wine! A trip to the local shop was called for but when you're in a little village the local shop is quite a distance away! Still, I wasn't going to be denied a glass on the first day of my holiday, so off I went. 

We're now relaxing with our photos, although not many today.
