What a great....

.....Urban/Canal ride with the old man.

Despite having very little sleep after Orla decided to wake in the night and refused to settle for a good chunk of her normal 10 hours, I went out on a much needed ride.

Taking in lots of the Black country we ended up doing a big loop around to the Bumblehole nature reserve.

Only 25 miles but it was most enjoyable and we didn't get wet despite this big puddle you can see in the image.

I got back and spent a few hours in the garden cutting grass and tidying up bushes and hedges. I was rewarded by Claire who cooked a super duper Sunday roast.

A rather splendid weekend done.
