Growing by design

We are up in the Pennines, on the boarder between Lancashire and Yorkshire, visiting Steve (Cathy's brother) and his wife Anne.  Steve is a passionate gardener.  His hillside garden is a masterpiece of engineering and gardening design.  

Every nook and cranny of this incredibly productive and carefully designed garden is a delight to explore,  via all the little steps, paths and gateways.  The vast majority is growing vegetable and fruit although there are some ornamental plants too.  He has a small lean-to greenhouse, which features this very clever Basil factory which I just couldn't help but want to blip for the gardeners out there.
