Works in progress

I’m packing. I hate packing because I always either under-or overpack. I never seem to get it right and I waste weeks thinking about that in a sort of paralysis of indecision. But here is the stuff that’s going to occupy me on my forthcoming trip home to the UK; through my three washout weeks, wherever they might be; and in either a week or two weeks’ quarantine on my return to Hong Kong. It’s all up in the air and these works in progress, should keep me a bit more grounded. I’m pleased to say that I’ve packed one suitcase tonight which is, for me, quite something.
