Meander through the heather

Because we can.
Because it's uplifting.
Because it won't last forever.

I met a guy who wasn't sure what the plant was and was disappointed the heather didn't smell like lavender - but I told him to sniff the air instead which definitely has a sweeter scent at the moment.  

He went on to wonder what it was used for.  I wasn't sure (apart from for grouse) so we said we'd look it up.  I found some fascinating facts I didn't know but I don't know if anyone in Wharfedale uses it.
