The First Day of Spring!

Although today is the first day of spring, it is reminicent of all the past months of winter! We had a foot of snow yesterday and last night. It has been very cold and windy, and yet there is such beauty in the winter. I was driving around hoping to find some little sign of spring, but was unsucessful.
I even thought about going to a local florist and take a photo of the fresh flowers.
I realized that everyday, there is beauty in the most simple things, such as this old hay rake.
It was a beautiful first day of spring after all!
