Early morning photoshoot

Nell is two months old, and her parents, who love each other dearly, wanted a baby photoshoot but couldn't afford one.  I volunteered, and we set it up for 8:30 a.m. because we are having another fierce heatwave, somewhat mitigated by thick layers of smoke from all the forests burning in the Pacific northwest. 

When an Oregon heatwave is mitigated by smoke, there can be no doubt that the world is on fire. Nothing, however, dims the love these two have for each other and their sweet Nell.
