Mackerel sky

Stunning cloud formation this evening. If I remember my A-level geography correctly, it is called a mackerel sky as the cirrocumulus clouds look like fish scales. They are thought to signal changing weather which would suggest rain, although none is forecast for tomorrow. Hope not as planning to catch up on some gardening tomorrow.
