We had a wander round before picking up our weekly shop. If you go early, you avoid paying for parking at the top car park but I did note that the first car park was busy with at least a dozen camper vans. Apparently they pay £5.00 a night. Sounds reasonable but then there are no “facilities” after 10.00pm.
This afternoon I hauled out the mower and cut the grass. I only took off three bucket loads of clippings but then a lot of our grass is rather scorched and hasn’t recovered yet from the sunburn.
Out this evening for a run around the district and we dropped into our favourite chippy and enjoyed a cheeky wee bag of chips. Nice!
