Rugby Tackle

On the way back from Stansted with J, my son. Back home from Sweden for a couple of weeks holiday. We stopped at Rugby services for tea, pee, and porkpie/scotch egg sustainence.
The service area is the best I have ever seen. Modern, stylish, clean and bright. It was a delight and the Rugby sculpture outside the main entrance is breathtaking.

Today I have been to see my brother, A, who has recently undergone surgery for a pelvic hernia. I'll spare you the detail but he is very sore. I helped him with things like making tea and dog walking. It was good to catch up with him, and as a qualified engineer/mechanic he had some interesting thoughts about my foray into classic Jag ownership. He was keen to counsel me on the vagaries of electrolytic decomposition and the perils of superchargers on older vehicles. Food for thought!

Good day overall, and back home to sit with all my assembled family watching Jeremy Clarksons attempt at farming. All very agreeable, happy days.
